She carefully shops for my daily needs,
and when work is done it is she who feeds
me dinner; my lunches and breakfasts and more
are due to her trips to the Stop
and Shop store.
Organic apples, and spinach and kale
lean cuts of meat (it they're on sale).
not ever their milk, came it from cows of heaven;
she knows it's on sale at Seven Eleven.
But this year were oodles of money blown
for a luxury car and a new smartphone?
No! Each purchase was pondered thoroughly through,
the nice quiet ride and the most
useful tool.
This Valentine is for my practical wife
who knows how to get the most out of life.
